Richard Huggan has become the new Bezza Shield champion after defeating Ryan Wilson 11-9 in this weekend’s final. Its the first piece of silverware for Huggan in his 6 year Bezza League career. Huggan and Wilson had been in good form going into the final, both in the top 20 of the Bezza League table, but 2 correct scores and 5 correct outcomes was enough to see off Wilson.Huggan finished top of his group and then went on to defeat Steve Chilton, Dan Stewart, Stevie Docherty, Mark Summerill, David Purves and finally Ryan Wilson in the knockout stage.
