The Bezza Knockout, is a head-to-head competition which runs alongside the normal league which consists of the bottom 32 active (submitted predictions within the last 3 weeks prior to the start of this competition) players in the league, if you are within the bottom 32 active players at the end of week 29 then you will automatically be in the Knockout 1st round. THERE ARE NO EXTRA PREDICTIONS TO SUBMIT, THE POINTS ARE TAKEN FROM THE NORMAL LEAGUE PREDICTIONS.
Round 1 – 32 people, draw will be made to see who you face head-to-head, your points against your opponent. Points from weeks 31 & 32 combined to see who qualifies for round 2.
Round 2 – 16 people, draw will be made to see who you face head-to-head, your points against your opponent. Points taken from week 33.
Quarter Final – 8 people, draw will be made to see who you face head-to-head, your points against your opponent. Points taken from week 34.
Semi Final – 4 people, draw will be made to see who you face head-to-head, your points against your opponent. Points taken from 36.
Final – 2 people, your points against your opponent. Points taken from week 37. The person with the highest score is the Bezza Knockout champion!
In the event of a draw between 2 people having the same points, then it will come down to the ‘Goals Predicted’ rule, the person who has predicted the closest amount of goals in the selected matches. If this is still a tie then it will go off who has predicted the the most correct scores. If there are any postponed matches for the week which a round is to be played, then points will be awarded only for the matches played, for you and your opponent.
