Week 4 Results

Nathan Halliday scored 13 points to finish week 4 as top points scorer. Halliday predicted 3 correct scores and 4 correct outcomes and moves up to 46th in the league table.

Ian Gibson remains on top and extends his lead to 3 points over the chasing pack which consists of 5 players. Neil Aitchison, Kev Morrison, Alfie Adams, Shaun Nordstrom and Sarah Ellis all share 2nd place and only split on correct scores. Only 1 point separates 2nd to 18th! 

The most 3 pointers were picked up in the Bournemouth v Brighton game as 33 people predicted the 2-1 home win. 22 people correctly predicted Fulham’s 1-0 win over Leeds.

Bezza Shield 1st Round

We are back after the international break this weekend. It also signals the start of the Bezza Shield, the first our head-to-head competitions this season. There is a slight change to the format this year, instead of the group stage we will be heading straight into a knockout. Round 1 lasts for 3 weeks and if your 3 week total is more than your opponents, then you move on to round 2. Simple!
You don’t need to do anything else, just your normal league predictions!

Player Of The Month – August

Not surprising that Ian Gibson takes player of the month with the most points due to him being top after the opening 3 weeks.
Ian also scored the most amount of correct scores (5) for August, along with Rachel Hay and Darren Laidler. Nathan Smillie and Sarah Ellis both predicted the most amount of correct outcomes with 17.

Week 3 Results

A slightly lower scoring week this weekend with some surprising scores coming in. 9 points was enough to get you top of the board for week 3. That’s what Neil Aitchison, Glenn Baker, Sarah Ellis and Nathan Smillie scored. Aitchison and Baker predicted 2 correct scores and 3 correct outcomes, while Ellis and Smillie predicted 1 correct score and 6 correct outcomes.

Ian Gibson holds on to top spot for the 2nd week in a row and holds a 2 point lead over Sam Kirk, who moves up to 2nd. Rachel Hay climbs up to 3rd. Dan Brunskill and Ben Burnip make up the top 5. Current champ Harris Khan sits in 92nd place.
