You will be automatically entered into the 1st round group stage and drawn into a group of 7 or 8, where your weekly score will go into the group table against the other members in your group. The group stage will run for 5 consecutive weeks from week 6. The top 4 in each group are guaranteed a place in round 2, along with the next 6 highest scorers from across all groups. If there is a tie at the end of the group stage, the person with the highest single weekly score will go through.
64 players move on to round 2 where there will be a draw to determine who you will play in a head-to-head knockout format. In the event of a tied score then the person with the most amount of correct scores will go through, if still tied then it will come down to the dreaded goals predicted rule, the person who predicted the closest amount of goals in the selected matches to the amount of actual goals scored in those fixtures.
The Bezza Shield does not require extra predictions! The Shield will take the points you receive from your normal league predictions.
