How To Play

Once logged in, you will be directed to your ‘My Predictions’ page (Shown below). Here, there are a few different sections (there is a list at the bottom of this page which explains each section!). Firstly, and most importantly, you enter your predictions here in the ‘Predict Scores’ area. You can also see upcoming fixtures, in date order, in the Upcoming Matches area so that you can see which games are closing soon. You can also see other information on this page, like the last week’s top 10 scorers and the league table top 10. You will also be able to measure how you have done against everyone else in the league for the latest week, this new addition is in the ‘My Points v the league’ section at the bottom of page.

To enter predictions, all you need to do is click on the ‘Enter’ button of the current week under ‘Predict Scores’. The current week is shown by a little football as shown in the picture below. You can submit predictions for any week in advance if the weeks ahead have been opened, you will see an ‘Enter’ button on any open week.

Once you have opened the week that you wish to submit predictions for, you will see the below page. Enter a score for each game in that week and click ‘Submit’ at the bottom of that page. You will then be asked to confirm your scores. You will be scored for Correct Scores and Outcomes.

If you feel like you cant decide what scores to submit, you do have the option of selecting a ‘Lucky Dip’ at the bottom of your score sheet, this will randomly select scores from 0-4 but you can fine tune once you have seen your selections. Leave the ‘Email’ box ticked if you would like to receive an email with confirmation of your scores.

You can amend any predictions up until the kick off time of each individual fixture. Just click on the ‘Enter’ button again and this will take you back to your predictions for that week.

Keep an eye on the ‘Upcoming Matches’ section, shown below, as this will inform you if there are any matches coming up to its deadline (match kick off). All games in this section are in date order, so earliest game expiring first!

If there are any postponed games, these will show up in the ‘Match Information’ section when they have been rearranged for another date.

Most game weeks will kick off at 12:30pm on a Saturday afternoon, but on some occasions, there might be an early game on a Friday night. Midweek fixtures also apply so be sure to keep an eye out for the games which are coming close to their expiry dates in the ‘Match Information’ section. There is a countdown timer which will appear once the games are within 1 week of their expiry time (Kick off).

League table – if 2 or more people are on the same points then the person with the most amount of ‘Correct Scores’ will take precedence.

Cups – where a head-to-head format takes place, if 2 people finished with the same amount of points then the person with the most amount of ‘Correct Scores’ will go through, if this is the same then it will go to the person who has predicted the closest amount of goals to the actual goals scored for the matches selected. In the event that the tie still remains a draw then a ‘replay’ will be played on the next set of league fixtures.

Points Scoring

Points are awarded as follows: –

  • 3 points for a Correct Score
  • 1 point for a Correct Outcome

Example: –

Usual game week, 10 games selected…3 Correct Scores, 2 Correct Outcomes, 5 incorrect

3 Correct Scores = 9 points

2 Correct Outcomes = 2 points

5 incorrect = 0 points

Total = 11 points
