You will be automatically entered into the 1st round group stage and drawn into a group of 7 or 8, where your weekly score will go into the group table against the other members in your group. The group stage will run for 5 consecutive weeks from week 6. The top 4 in each group are guaranteed a place in round 2, along with the next 8 highest scorers from across all groups.
64 players move on to round 2 where there will be a draw to determine who you play in a head-to-head knockout, if there are any tied matches then it will come down to the dreaded ‘Goals Predicted’ rule, the person who has predicted the closest amount of goals scored in the selected matches compared to the number of actual goals scored in those fixtures.
The Bezza Shield does not require extra predictions! The Shield will take the points you receive from your normal league predictions.
