Week 8 Results

Grant Taylor scored 14 points to finish week 8 as top points scorer. Taylor predicted 4 correct scores and 2 correct outcomes to move up to 52nd in the league table with his highest tally of the season so far. Stephen Barwick was 2nd with 13 points, following up his 3rd place in week 7, moves up to 8th in the league. Phillip Clayton was 3rd with 12 points. Only 11 people reached double figures this week, compared to the 65 people who managed that feat on week 7.

Neil Aitchison holds on to his 5 point lead at the top, with Andrew Davison remaining in 2nd. Glenn Baker climbs up 1 place to 3rd, while Ian Gibson moves the other down to 4th. Ian Rogerson moves up into the top 5.

The most 3 pointers were picked up in the Man City v Everton game as 37 people correctly predicted the 2-0 home win for City. 22 people correctly predicted Sunderland’s 2-0 win over Wolves, while only 2 people grabbed 3 points for Man Utd’s 2-1 win at Liverpool.

6 points was the target to make it through to the next week of the eliminator. 22 made it through to week 2 (Results shown below).
