Bezza Europe Matchday 4 Results

Ellis Edges European Encounter

Phil Ellis is the new Bezza Europe champion! Its a first title in his career and makes sure of qualification into Europe for next season. Ellis beat former league and cup champion Tom Beck in a very close match which ended 3-3 after both players predicted 3 correct outcomes and meant it was another tie decided on the goals predicted rule.

Ellis is said to be delighted with the win, partying with his team last night to celebrate the victory. It has been a tough road, making through the group stage as runner up and then beating Paul Emmerson-Ryan, Chris Wood and Amanda Adams on way to his first final, winning by a maximum of 2 points in those games. Ellis currently sits in 68th in the league table, the Bezza Europe win may have came at a cost. For Beck, its another nearly moment. a second runners up medal of his already decorated Bezza League career to go alongside his 3rd place in the league.
