The Bezza Cup is the most prestigious of our 4 cup competitions and the later rounds usually take place in line with English FA Cup matches, however, the first 2 rounds this season will take place on selected league weeks (shown below) using your normal league predictions, as there isn’t enough FA Cup rounds to squeeze our cup competition in. Everyone is automatically entered into this cup with Rounds 1 & 2 using the normal league predictions.
As in other cup comps, if you have a tied match with your opponent then it will be decided on the dreaded goals predicted rule (the closest amount of goals predicted to the actually goals scored in the selected matches), our version of the penalty shootout. If there are any postponed games then those games will be discounted and no points awarded.
Predictions submitted for cup games is only for the 90 minutes. Extra time and penalties do not count.
