The Bezza Cup returns again this season, starting with the Boxing Day fixtures. Adam Campbell is the current champion, can he win back-to-back cup titles, a feat yet to be achieved. The 1st round will be played out over the next 3 gameweeks, with the top 32 players making through to round 2. Everyone will be automatically entered into round 1 and points taken from your normal league predictions, the 32 highest highest scorers over the 3 weeks move on to the 2nd round. Round 2 moves onto the head-to-head format, predicting scores for matches in the FA cup.

Bezza Shield Final
Kev Purves will play Grant Taylor in the final of the Bezza Shield this weekend. Purves beat Stephen Dowdle 7-5 in his semi final, while Taylor beat current league lead Andrew Davison 8-6 to book his place in the final. Both players will be playing in their first final of any kind in the Bezza League, meaning there will be a new name in the Bezza League’s honours list! The first competition of the season will draw to a close this weekend, before the Bezza Cup starts in 2 weeks.
