Bezza Cup Semi Final Results

Colin Timney will play Craig Robinson in the final of the Bezza Cup. Both players have reached their first ever finals after close wins in their semi final matches this weekend. Timney beat Lee Davison 5-4 with the damage being done on Saturday to leave Davison no chance of qualifying from the games left on Sunday. In the other semi, Robinson edged a close encounter with Brian Baird. This tie came down to the last match with Robinson needing Man City to win 2-1 to grab the 3 points and take the win. Both Davison and Baird still have plenty to play for with Davison only 2 points off a Bezza Europe spot for next season. Baird has a semi final of this seasons Europe competition to pick himself up for.

The Bezza Cup final will take place on the weekend of Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April.

Bezza Cup Semi Final

The Bezza League returns this weekend after the international break, but not for league action! We are down to the last 4 in this seasons Bezza Cup. Craig Robinson takes on Brian Baird in the first semi final. This is Robinsons 2nd season in the Bezza League and only made it to the last 64 in last season Bezza Cup. Baird is a Bezza League veteran and is yet to lift some silverware, but arrives in his first semi final after previously reaching the quarter final on 4 occasions. In the other semi final, Colin Timney takes on Lee Davison. Timney is also going into his first ever Bezza Cup semi final, having been in 2 quarter finals in 4 attempts. Davison is the only player left in who has silverware to his name having won Bezza Europe back in 2016. He is also the only player left who has reached the semi final in this competition before, back in 2020, does this make him the favourite?

Predictions are due for 12:15pm on Saturday 29th March
