Week 31 Results

Mark Johnson scored 12 points to finish week 31 as top points scorer. Johnson predicted 4 correct scores and moves up 11 places to 98th in the league table, his highest position since week 11, with his joint highest score of the season. Nathan Halliday was second this weekend with 10 points, moving up 10 places to 13th. Kev Purves was third for week 31 with 9 points.

Neil Aitchison’s lead has been cut again with Kev Morrison now only 4 points behind in 2nd. Glenn Baker holds on to 3rd a further 2 points back, with Kev Booth and Ian Rogerson making up the top 5 in 4th and 5th respectively.

The 1st round of the Bezza Knockout is now complete and results are shown below. The Eliminator week 3 is also complete, with 4 points being the cut.

Bezza Europe Quarter Final Results

And then there were four! The semi final line-up for Bezza Europe is now complete. Current champion Steve Chilton is out after an 11-8 defeat to former league champion Dan Stewart. Alex McIsaac is through to his first semi final after beating Rob Bosher Jnr 15-12. Adam Smith is also through after a 12-6 win over Ian Rogerson. While Stevie Docherty makes it through to his second semi final after making this far back in 2019-20, defeating Rachel Hay 12-8.

Dan Brunskill scored 12 points to finish week 30 as top points scorer. Brunskill predicted 3 correct scores and 3 correct outcomes to move up 24 places to 28th in the league table. Bezza Cup Quarter Final Results

Amanda Adams was top scorer in the quarter finals of the Bezza Cup. Adams scored 6 points on her way to beating former cup champion Tom Beck 6-4. Natasja Ailes and Sam Hardie both scored 5 points in their wins over Mark Fromson and Stephen Dowdle respectively. Chris Wood completes the semi final line-up after he defeated Garry Baird 4-3. Bezza Europe Last 16 Results

During the week attention turned to the 2nd legs in the last 16 of our Bezza Europe competition. Alex McIsaac, Rachel Hay and Adam Smith were top scorers with a combined score of 12 points over the 2 legs as they advance to the quarter finals. Current champion Steve Chilton also makes it through after a close tie with rival Mark Johnson. Rob Bosher Jnr, Ian Rogerson and Dan Stewart make it through to the quarters with wins over Harris Khan, Darren Vowden and Alex Hamilton respectively. As well as champion Steve Chilton, the only other player to have been at this stage last season was Stevie Docherty. Docherty takes the last spot in the last 8 which takes place in March.
