Amanda Adams scored 14 points to become top scorer for week 27. Adams predicted 3 correct scores and 5 correct outcomes to move up 30 places to 41st in the league table. Adams is only the 3rd player so far this season to have been top scorer on more than one occasion, Ben Burnip and Glenn Baker the others on that list. 2nd top scorers with 10 points this weekend were Ethan Gray, Megan Kay and Paul Emmerson-Ryan. Gray moves up 2 places to 114th, Kay climbs 7 places to 99th and Emmerson-Ryan moves up 12 places to 68th. 8 players shared 3rd spot with 9 points.

Neil Aitchison strengthens his grip on top spot as he moves 11 points clear of Glenn Baker in 2nd. Former champion Kev Morrison moves up to 3rd, 2 points behind Baker. Ian Rogerson drops 1 place to 4th, with Kev Booth holding on to 5th.

The most correct scores were predicted in the Man City v Newcastle game as 19 players predicted the 2-1 home win for City. 18 players scored max points for Crystal Palace’s 1-0 win at home to Wolves.

Bezza Europe Last 16 1st Leg

The 1st leg of Bezza Europe’s last 16 ties were completed last night. The scores at the half way stage are shown below. Rachel Hay, Ian Rogerson, Chris Gill and Adam Smith were the highest scores with 7 points. Ties to complete next week with the 2nd legs on Tuesday and Wednesday (24th & 25th Feb).

Bezza Cup 4th Round Results

Sam Hardie and Natasja Ailes were top scorers in the last 16 of the Bezzza Cup this weekend as they both scored with 12 points to book a place in the quarter final. Hardie beat Mark Johnson 12-7, while Ailes beat Philip Gray 12-9. Stephen Dowdle was the only other person to notch double figures in his 10-8 win over Lee Davison. Rearranged Fixture…

Well this rearranged fixture for Wednesday night has caught me out…my apologies!

We have a match that has been brought forward from the middle of March to this week. Wolves v Arsenal from Week 31 is now on Wednesday night with kick off @ 8pm. 

Back to week 27 on Saturday 21st Feb, with predictions due for 3pm

Week 26 Results

Pete Stevenson predicted 4 correct scores and 1 correct outcomes to finish week 26 as top points scorer with a total of 13 points. Stevenson moves up 20 places to 63rd in the league table. Adam Brown and Lee Davison were 2nd for the midweek fixtures with 12 points, Brown is up to 26th while Davison climbs up to 19th. Kev Morrison, Colin Timney and David Purves were 3rd with 11 points.

Neil Aitchison extends his lead to 10 points over Glenn Baker who remains in 2nd. Ian Rogerson remains in 3rd, with Kev Morrison and Kev Booth in 4th and 5th respectively.

The most correct scores were predicted in the Man City v Fulham game as 33 players predicted the 3-0 home win for City. 26 players scored max points for Newcastle’s 2-1 win away at Tottenham.

The final group table of this seasons Bezza Europe 1st round is shown below. Top 16 move on to round 2.

Rachel Hay scored 13 points to finish the last gameweek as top scorer. The tally was enough for Hay to finish top of the Group and cruise through to the last 16. Mark Johnson and Anthony Bosher were 2nd with 9 points.
